That day, I reached a lake. I tried to fill up my bottle and wash my face to refresh myself. Then I heard some growling.
Werewolves again?
Hand on my sword; I silently climbed nearer to have a look.
Yes, it were werewolves but not the big one, they are just kids. Two of them were playing at the shore of the lake, free from all anxieties.
I then loose my nerves, this scene recalls my memories. When I was young, yet been adopted by the Takashi family, I used to play with my brother just like them.

Yuck! What is this sticky liquid is? Colorless…warm…and…
Slowly I turned back and there is theirs mommy. Growling loudly, it almost burst my poor eardrum. I did a somersault and landed on the opposite side of the lake.
Just when I wanted to draw out my sword, my pain receptors were greatly stimulated. The two ‘kids’ each bit my hand!
I tried to swing them off but it was useless. At the same time, the mommy threw herself on me. With the power of a thunderbolt and the speed of lightning, I swung my arm together with one of the ‘kid’ on it and beat his mommy.
The small one finally releases its mouth and flew with his mommy. Drawing out my sword, didn’t hesitated but just chop off the other ‘kid’s’ head.
The body felon the ground, blood was flowing on the ground like tap water from the ‘kid’s’ chopped off neck. This one didn’t release its mouth from my hand even though I had chopped its head.
The brother and mommy stayed silent and then they howled. I can hear more and more of them coming.
Oh God! I’m in big trouble now!

NINJA’S AGE 2
-Beran-Adopted Child-II-
I remember last time; Kyoto was a place where people come to view the sugar cherry, visit the temples and shrines. Now it is just a tropical like jungle.
I must be alert. The werewolves may appear any time…
Pap!
I drew out my sword and cut out a werewolf’s limb. Blood splashed on my face. There it is the werewolf.
Without any time to wasted, I threw out 4 niku to its heart but they missed. The werewolf was angry since I cut off its limb.
Using its only hand, it attacked me with an abnormal strength. I jumped up in the air then I heard the sound of air flowing behind me.
Damn it!
I used my sword to block another werewolf’s attack. But its huge power made my hand pain and paralysis. I landed on the ground and took a good look.
There are two of them. I should remember that wolves won’t be alone, they are group animals. They’re a little too friendly. I’m not even in the jungle yet.
After some aggressive exercise, I can finally make my first step into the jungle. Now I know that they are more difficult to handle than I thought.
The first day passed safely but this does not mean I can let my guard down. Most of the werewolf live in the inner part of the jungle and this means their group will be bigger, not just two or five in group.
Today is my 16th day in the jungle, I had defeated many werewolves and I discovered that the rate for me to finish this mission is low.
First of all, I’m running out of food. Although there are many fruits around but they are polluted and not safe to consume. The most important thing is that I’m tired. I can’t find a chance to let my guard down and have a good sleep. Most of the time, I’m awake, but from time to time, sit down to let my body rest.
If this continues I may face athopia. I’ve got to finish my mission as fast as I can and just blow out the stupid camp. Besides, when you are alone, you may easily go off into wild flights of fancy, talking to myself and become neurotic.
Man! I’m getting crazy!
After that day, I found myself a mate. The story starts like this…

NINJA'S AGE 1
-Beran-Adopted Child-I-
I’m Takeshi Beran. I’m a ninja of Takeshi’s family. Although I’m in this pure blood family, I have no blood relation with any of the family member. Yes, I’m an adopted child.
The Takeshi family is going to hunt down those crazy scientists and I’m one of them who are willing to join this program.
This morning, I received a message from my lord and now I’m on my way to the oval room to get the mission.
On the way, I met Chii the youngest girl ninja in our family. She wished me good luck and all the best. I’m happy with it. We also talked about Masahara, one of the sons of our lord.
Chii said that she was worried for him since today is the second month no news was heard from him.
After the chatting, I went straight to the oval room. My lord is an old man; he had about 6 sons or more? He is a wise and smart man.
I respect him very much; he is a kind man too. I remember someone left a warning to him; someday his kindness may kill him.
Straight to the point, my lord wants me to make an investigation in Kyoto…
As we know, Kyoto is now the werewolves’ habitat. It is said that those crazy scientist made a camp there to study about werewolf and reproduce them.
So my job is to destroy the camp and kill the entire scientist there. I will set out 10 minutes after some preparation for my mission is done. A ship will pick me there. I then went to the weapon and armor room to pick my stuff.
These days, we are running out of men power and missions are getting harder and harder to carry out. I’m the only one to go on the mission how unlike last time when we can still go in a group.
You have to make sure you can protect yourself well; no one will save you when you are in trouble. Besides, as a ninja, you must not be a burden to others.
I hung a samurai sword on my back. Werewolves huh? They are a strange beast that can move in speed of lighting, clever and cruel. Werewolves are often granted extra-human strength and senses, far beyond those of both wolves or men, most notably the vulnerability to silver bullets. They are the main obstruct in my mission.
5 minutes later, I’m on board, looking at the old modeled Japanese house, I pray that I can come ‘home’ again.

NINJA'S AGE
Prologue
You will never believe it the year of 2089, the modern technology city had extinguished. How can this happen? It is because a team of crazy scientist masters peace. The more developed, the more the mentally unstable people exist.
Now this is the outcome, human are going to extinct. Pollution makes them evolve into monsters and crazy scientists make them into zombies. More species appear and it turns out into a mess.
To keep on surviving, human work together and build up a basement in Tokyo, under the Tokyo Tower. They try to cut down the using of electricity and live as 19th century.
A group of samurai family, volunteer to protect the safety of the basement while a group of ninja volunteer to be the front line attacker, which is to kill everything that comes near the basement.
But deep inside the mountain, there live the true, pure blooded ninja family. They reject to live as individuals who protect only themselves but as true hero by hunting down the crazy scientists. They are the Family called --- Takeshi.
